Private tuition
The lessons will be online or at your home or office at a convenient time for you. Lessons can be 1 to 1 or within a group. Lessons can focus on Business language training (Legal, medical, insurance, media, NGO, conflict resolution), exam preparation, conversation, or a mixture of these.
It might be possible to book intensive French tuition at your holiday place or new place in France. Contact me for more information.
Whether you are an auditory, visual, or kinesthetic learner, I will find a strategy that will result in success. Techniques are shared and practiced, so students can achieve success on their own.
You can be provided with regular reports and feedback. Your progress is continually monitored and shared.

Differentiated Learning Styles
I can develop successful skills and strategies for exam taking that are appropriate for GCSEs, AS, A2, DELF, the Institute of Linguists or governmental organizations' exams. I provide opportunities to apply skills learnt so you will feel confident, prepared, and familiar with an exam situation. I also teach accent improvement skills.

Lessons are usually once or twice a week, for one hour to 4 hours, depending on your needs. We recommend at least one lesson a week. I'm available between 8am and 8pm.
I also provide intensive tuition, for professionals who are going on secondments or moving permanently to another country.
Sophie provides a wide range of services such as face to face and Online Language tuition for adults and children, interpreting and translation: websites, apps, books, medical, government, council, police documents - for clients living to moving to France: notaire, GP, hospital, sollicitor, surveyor documents.

Exam Preparation
Most of my students have one or two lessons a week, from 1 to 4 hours at a time. I can come to your home or office at a time that suits you (usually between 9am and 7pm).
The day and time can change if need be, but I recommend a weekly routine to establish a good pace for your learning. I will recommend apps, books, Youtube videos, podcasts, films and websites that you will use to help your studies and do your homework from.

I provide tuition for groups, which is between 2 and 20 people, in your home or company.
In companies, groups usually prefer to have their lessons before work, at lunch time or in the evening.
I can organize a one-off group lesson before a trip abroad or meeting as a Refresher course or Taster course.
Lessons tailored to you and your business
I can provide several hours of lessons per day, for clients who require an operational level of language within months or even weeks. I can advise you on the number of hours needed to reach the level required, but this will obviously depend on how much time and effort you put in in and between your lessons.
